TRUE CANDY PERFORMANCE
Brilliant transparent colors for custom refinishing and airbrushing. candy2o combine advanced water-soluble, urethane resin technology with crystal-clear dyes to create truly exceptional candy colors.candy2o are concentrate. Add 10% per volume (9:1 mix ratio) 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear or 4030 Balancing Clear for spray performance. Optional lowering of viscosity is achieved by reducing with either 4011 Reducer or 4020 Automotive Reducer.
- 100% transparent, water-based color made with aniline dyes.

- Stop dyes from leaching (bleeding) into top-coated colors by applying 4040 Bleed Checker over candy2o.

- Refer to Candy2o Colors Technical Data Sheet for more information about thinning and mixing specific color type
- W354 Aluminum for standard candy color
- W350 Metallic Gold for "candy apple" color
- Apply over W357 Quicksilver for anodized candy color, W358 gold Plating for anodized candy apple
- Apply lighter colors such as 4653 Lemon Yellow over W360 Metallic Fine White or W361 Metallic Coarse White for brightest value.
- candy2O may be applied as a mid-coat over any Createx metallic, aluminum or pearlescent color.
- Each base color creates a different value of candy2o for a wide variety of finishes.
- 4050 UVLS Gloss is the recommended carrier for candy2o. It replaces 4030 Balancing Clear as it allows for a more even and heavier color coat. 4050 is especially recommended when applying with a spray-gun.

- Candy2o are intense. 4 – 6 medium wet coats are recommended for full color saturation. Allow each coat to air dry tack free prior; approximately 10 minutes flash-time in between coats when painting in non-humid, temperate conditions around 70 deg. F. Adjust drying times in humid or colder conditions.

- Airbrush: Any tip-size, 18 – 27 psi
- Add 4050 10% - 300% per vol.,
- then thin with 4011 Reducer 5% - 10% + per vol.
- Spray Gun: 1.2 – 1.3mm, 18 – 22 psi
- Mix 4050 6:1 candy2o
- Thinning with 4011 Reducer is often not required.
- Allow candy2o mix to acclimate for 10+ minutes before spraying. Apply 4040 Bleed Checker over candy2o to prevent bleeding [leaching] of the dyes into top-coated colors or clear.
